KINARQ partnered with governmental bodies and telecom operators to design and build a secure, scalable fintech platform — from architecture to native mobile apps. The platform unified citizen onboarding, identity verification, and mobile payments into a single national infrastructure, transforming how digital finance is delivered at scale.
The challenge
Unifying financial access across multiple institutions and regions required building for extreme conditions: low-bandwidth environments, regulatory complexity, and highly varied user behaviors. A mobile-first, multilingual, and secure solution was critical to success.

The solution
We developed and deployed native mobile apps (Android/iOS) integrated with a secure backend architecture. We worked hand-in-hand with government teams to ensure compliance, usability, and reliability — while leading multi-disciplinary teams across regions.

Our approach
Led early-stage UX & User Research with underserved user segments
Designed the system’s full-stack blueprint with our Solution Architecture team
Built and deployed production-ready apps through Mobile App Development teams (native Android/iOS)
Managed complete test coverage and compliance validation through rigorous Software Testing protocols
Delivered value
Enabled over 2 million unbanked citizens across Ethiopia and Ghana to access digital financial services through a unified, government-supported mobile-first fintech platform.
